The Look x Africa

So many times I said to myself, "I have to rock some African pieces." From accessories to a dashiki, I wanted it. Today I wore some inspiring African pieces and was even more happy when I saw an African necklace under item of the week on Style.com!

BLYNK by Dominique Sade photoshoot

I had a great day today in Park Slope, Brooklyn shooting my 2011 BLYNK by Dominique Sade collection. The photographer came from Korea to visit NYC and to make magic happen with his camera. I was lucky enough to meet him right in time before he had to go back home. The hair and make-up was beautiful. Even though it rained all day, it sure didn't stop us! In fact, I think it came out better.
The viewing of my SS 2011 Collection is coming soon. In the meantime have fun with the sneak peak.

H&M/Uptown magazine re-opening event

I had a blast on July 29th at the H&M re-opening event, sponsored by Uptown magazine. Complimentary Belvedere drinks and hor dourves. My friend Krystal wore one of my pieces from Spring/Summer 2011 collection. It was a great night for networking and a great night of FUN!

MY FIRST POST

I'm not sure what took me so long to start blogging. Maybe it was thought of trying to stand out from other bloggers. However, I realized that I can only be me and share that with the world. As a designer I want nothing more but for everyone to love and appreciate my work. As a person, I just hope that you respect me...
