Legend... Donyale Luna
Donyale Luna was the first African American woman to appear on the cover of British Vogue. She also appeared in the Andy Warhol film, "Camp". She only lived until she was 33, sad, but her beauty is not forgotten.

I can't express enough how important it is to see other cultures shown throughout fashion magazines. The topic has been around for some time now and though some people don't see the problem, you can't help but to notice the ratio. These models looked amazing during this shoot for Vogue.it Would love to a spread of all cultures.

This issue was shot June 24th, the mix of contemporary and 70's glam was executed well. Fred Maylan did a wonderful job capturing the essence fot the shoot and Erin Wasson looks great.
